What are the benefits of the ecoegg Dryer Eggs?

*We used an independent laboratory to test the drying time of wet laundry with no Dryer Eggs (control tests), against wet laundry with Dryer Eggs and found that they reduced tumble drying time by between 17.8% and 28.8%. 

Not only do the Dryer Eggs dry your clothes more quickly but they also soften and gently fragrance your laundry whilst being kind to your skin.

The natural fragrance oils contained in the Fresh Linen and Spring Blossom fragrance sticks add a delicate scent to your laundry.

How do the ecoegg Dryer Eggs work?

The Dryer Eggs help to separate your laundry so that more air can circulate, drying each item more quickly.

The nodules on the eggs are designed to help soften your clothes naturally so there is no need to use fabric softener. Simply put them in the tumble dryer drum with your washing and they’ll do their magic!

The ecoegg Dryer Eggs come in matching fragrances to the ecoegg Laundry Egg – Fresh Linen and Spring Blossom and so are perfect to use to dry, soften and fragrance your laundry after using the Laundry Egg.

Note

Do not use these Dryer Eggs in your tumble dryer if the fins in the drum are within 7cm from the seal of the tumble dryer door. This is because the Dryer Eggs may get stuck in this space and prevent the drum from turning effectively.

Personal note: The wrapper in which the ecoegg fragrance sticks are supplied is LDPE (plastic) film, which is recyclable. This however, we've been told by Ecoegg is expected to be replaced by a more sustainable alternative.
